England Blue away World Cup shirt 1996

This Umbro shirt was worn by the England players only three times in international matches, but it will always be remembered. One of the three games that the team wore it in, was when Germany knocked England out of the European championship in the semi-final at Wembley on the 26th June. It was a 1-1 draw at the end of extra time and Germany beat England on penalties. Some superstitious fans even blame the shirt was to blame for England's failure to advance to the final.
