England World Cup Shirts

With the 2006 World Cup about to be launched this summer - we've all seen the new shirts being paraded in the press.

But do you remember the shirts England has worn in previous world cup tournaments?

Here is what the England team have worn from the 1960's, what our heroic lads wore, from the infamous red away shirt of our 1966 World Cup Win to the least popular grey of the 1990's and to-date

England Red away World cup shirt 1974 to 1980
Red Away Shirt 1974 to 1980

Collared shirt, white shorts, featuring 3 lions logo and Admiral logo. This shirt was worn with white shorts and red stockings. On the 25th of May 1976 wearing this shirt England defeated the World-Class team Italy, England beat Italy in a friendly in New York. England were 2 goals down inside the first twenty minutes, but fought back to defeat Italy 3-2 with 3 goals in the first 7 minutes of the second half. England also beat Team America 3-0 (who's team consisted of the likes of Bobby Moore and Pele) in Philadelphia, wearing this shirt just three days after defeating Italy.
