Plain round neck, navy blue shorts,
featuring 3 lions logo. Worn throughout the 1966
world cup tournament, although the in the final
against West Germany the Red away kit was worn.
This England shirt was made by Umbro, it was worn
with navy blue shorts and white stockings. The
strip was worn by the players from the 1964 season
to the 1974 season. England wore the shirt for
several of the 1966 world cup final tournament
matches at Wembley. The shirts last years were
marked by a drastic decline in England's match
success, the failures to qualify for the final
tournaments of the European Championship of 1972
and the World Cup 1974. At the start of the 1974-1975
season England wore a new strip designed by a
new manufacturer.
