England World Cup Shirts

With the 2006 World Cup about to be launched this summer - we've all seen the new shirts being paraded in the press.

But do you remember the shirts England has worn in previous world cup tournaments?

Here is what the England team have worn from the 1960's, what our heroic lads wore, from the infamous red away shirt of our 1966 World Cup Win to the least popular grey of the 1990's and to-date.

White Home Shirt 1987 - 1989

Blue trimmed round neck, navy blue shorts, featuring 3 lions and Umbro logos. From 1987 to 1989 this Umbro shirt was worn 22 times by England. It was worn in England's three matches at the 1988 European Championship final tournament in West Germany. It is also the England shirt that Paul Gascoigne wore in his debut for England when he came on as a substitute against Denmark. Gascoigne made an impression so big in this game that it would last throughout the rest of his career.
